M-B (123 chassis Diesel) Throttle Linkage Pivot Mount Kit
( view instructional video ) No longer available new from Mercedes-Benz. We have field tested this for over six months with 100% success. The feedback is the throttle linkage is silky smooth. Better than OEM. It's easy to assemble, and you reuse part of the old linkage from the car. A tool is given that must be used to mount the metal plate to the new ball. Very simple. Two sealed bearings are supplied with the part.

M-B (123 chassis) Mechanical Odometer Gear
There are potentially two gears that can go bad. First is the gear on the side of the speedometer. If your gear is metal, then you will not need this gear. If it is plastic, inspect closely where the shaft comes through the gear as there will generally be a hairline crack, and the gear must fit tight. Most common are 18 or 29 tooth counts.

M-B (123 chassis) Mechanical Odometer Lead Gear
The second is the lead gear on the same rail. Check to make sure it is tight on the shaft. Using a small screwdriver, see if it spins on the shaft. If it does, you should replace this gear as well. There are three sizes. All you need to do is measure the overall thickness.

1/8 = 3.175mm
3/16 = 4.7625mm
1/4 = 6.35mm
