To repair the odometer permanently you will need both the 25 or 26 tooth gear and the 15 tooth pod. The ONLY way to determine which tooth count you need is to count the teeth of your old gear.

There are two different tooth counts for this application. A 25 or 26 tooth gear. The only way to determine what is installed is to remove and count the teeth of the old gear. (If you aren't sure of the proper tooth count, order the 25 tooth gear. It will fit all units. The difference is roughly 3% mileage inaccuracy if the original gear was a 26 tooth.)

The original pod was made in two parts, the disc and then the urethane gear. We manufacture the replacement pod as one piece. This ensures a stronger part with no failure possible.
