26 tooth gear for first year of 700 series and 1992-93 200 series only (The 92-93 Volvo 200 series can have either a 25 or a 26 tooth gear installed.) In order to make sure that you install the correct gear you will need to first count the teeth on your old gear before ordering. (Please read note below)
(If you aren't sure the proper tooth count order the 25 tooth gear. It will fit all units. The difference is rough 3% mileage inaccuracy if the original gear was a 26 tooth.)

NOTE PLEASE look before you order. If you have questions, read the statement below.
I get a lot of people asking me which gear they should order for their 850 Volvo. Without a doubt, get the 15 tooth gear. They will always be broken. Since I am not looking at your car and you are probably saying to yourself that it's too difficult and time consuming to do the job twice, I will just order both and return one if I don't need it. Please, I invested a lot more time and money into making these gears than it takes for you to look first. What I recommend every time someone asks which gears they need before they look is, the 12 tooth gear will eventually break. It might take a year or two but it will break. One repair shop replaced ten 15 tooth gears without a single problem and then had the next three 12 tooth pods break after 20kms. Now they replace both gears all the time. If you are keeping the car long term, replace both. If you are paying a shop for three hours book labor, do both. If you are selling the car, replace what you need. If you must return the gear, no problem at all. I never want to sell you something you don't need. While the parts are small, remember the demand for these parts is low and the cost of my cheapest mold runs around $5k. This doesn't include the cost of the machine and other tools needed for support. There is a good reason no one has gotten into this for the last 20 years. It's very expensive to make a precision part. Don't hesitate to call me at anytime (weekend, after hours, vacation) and ask any questions before or after you buy parts from me. I want to help and that is the bottom line.
If you have questions, please email or call anytime. Weekends and evenings are ok.
